Interlux Pacifica Plus Antifouling Marine Paint For Sale Online.
Interlux Pacifica antifouling paint is specially designed to battle slime and contains Econea to help ward off barnacles, algae, and other underwater organisms. It is formulated with a dual biocide antifouling that uses Biolux Slime Blocking technology.
Interlux Pacifica is easy to apply with a roller or brush. The overall performance and protection provided by Interlux Pacifica are directly related to the amount of antifouling paint applied. A thin layer may lead to premature fouling. A thicker layer will protect your boat much longer. Interlux Pacifica is safe to use for both fresh and saltwater applications and is safe for all boats including aluminum, wood, fiberglass, and steel.
Interlux Pacifica uses Econea technology, which is a copper-replacement technology. It allows antifouling performance to work at very low concentrations. It is safer for use on aluminum, unlike its Copper Oxide counterparts. Once emitted from paint film, it breaks down quickly. It is formulated to protect against more severe organisms.

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES:
In Good Condition with Pacifica or Trilux 33
- Sand with 80 (grit) grade paper. Wipe with Special Thinner 216.
- If these coatings are more than a year old, wet sand the surface with 80 (grit) grade paper to a clean, firmly attached surface. Wipe down with Special Thinner 216.
- Apply 1-2 coats of TBT Sealer.
- Non-TBT Copolymers: Apply 1 coat of Primocon.
- Hard Antifoulings: Sand surface with 80 grade (grit) paper to a clean firmly attached surface, wipe with Special Thinner 216.
- Apply Pacifica Plus.
In Poor Condition
- Remove antifouling paint in poor condition with Interstrip Semi-Paste 299E.
- Sand and wipe clean with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202.
BARE FIBERGLASS:
- Begin by scrubbing the surface thoroughly with a stiff brush using soap and water to remove loose dirt and contamination. Flush with fresh water to remove the soap residue.
- Remove mold release wax using one of the following methods:
- Apply Fiberglass Surface Prep YMA601 or Low VOC Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202V with a maroon, 3M Scotch-Brite® pad and scrub well.
- Flush with fresh water or wipe off with a clean, wet cloth ensuring that no traces of Fiberglass Surface Prep or Low VOC Fiberglass Solvent Wash remain.
- An alternate method would be to dampen cheesecloth with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202.
- Wipe thoroughly to remove all surface contamination and cleaners. Wipe off with a clean, dry rag before liquid dries.
- Wipe only a few square feet at a time and change rags frequently.
- To be certain the contamination has been removed, run water over the surface. If the water beads up or separates, repeat one of the above methods.
- When the water sheets off, all contamination has been removed.
- Repair all scratches, nicks and dings by sanding those areas with 80 grade (grit) paper.
- Remove sanding residue with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202.
- Fill the repair areas with Interlux® Watertite Epoxy filler.
- No Sand System
- Clean surface as above. Apply one coat of Interlux Interprotect 2000E.
